Bandits Set Police Station, Church Ablaze in Niger State Attack


 
Suspected bandits have attacked a community in Niger State, setting a police station and a church on fire during the incident.

According to local sources, the attackers stormed the area and vandalised public and religious property before fleeing. Security operatives were later deployed to the scene, while residents reportedly fled for safety amid the attack.

No official statement has been issued yet by the Niger State Police Command regarding casualties or arrests, as investigations into the incident are ongoing. Authorities have assured residents that efforts are being intensified to restore calm and track down those responsible.
