Obi Cubana Receives Prestigious Chieftaincy Title in Anambra

Renowned Nigerian businessman and philanthropist, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has been conferred with a prestigious chieftaincy title in Anambra State, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to business development, philanthropy, and the promotion of Igbo culture and values.

The chieftaincy title was bestowed during a colourful traditional ceremony attended by community leaders, traditional rulers, family members, associates, and well-wishers. The event reflected the rich cultural heritage of the Igbo people, with traditional rites and celebrations marking the honour.

Obi Cubana, founder and chairman of the Cubana Group, has built one of Nigeria’s most recognisable hospitality and entertainment brands, with businesses spanning nightlife, real estate, and luxury services across major cities. Beyond his business success, he is widely known for his commitment to humanitarian causes, youth empowerment, and community development.
