A Lagos-based pastor, Chris Okafor, has reportedly failed to appear before the police following an invitation issued in connection with multiple allegations of sexual assault.

The Lagos State Police Command had earlier confirmed that the Commissioner of Police ordered a thorough investigation after complaints were made by several individuals. As part of the process, the pastor was invited for questioning but did not honor the invitation as scheduled.

Police sources disclosed that investigations remain ongoing and that appropriate steps will be taken to ensure due process is followed. The command reiterated its commitment to handling the matter professionally and in line with the law.

Authorities have also urged members of the public to refrain from speculation while investigations continue, stressing that allegations remain unproven until established through proper legal procedures.

As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official response from the pastor regarding the missed police invitation.
