Kaduna Government Denies Reports of Church Kidnappings in Southern Kaduna

The Kaduna State Government has dismissed claims by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) that worshippers were kidnapped during recent attacks on churches in parts of Southern Kaduna.

In a statement released by state officials, the government described the reports as inaccurate, insisting that security agencies have no records confirming any abductions from churches in the affected communities. Authorities maintained that while security concerns exist in the region, no verified cases of worshippers being taken during church services have been established.

The government also emphasized its ongoing collaboration with security agencies to monitor developments in Southern Kaduna and reassured residents that measures are being taken to protect lives and property.

Meanwhile, the Christian Association of Nigeria has continued to call for improved security and transparent investigations into reported incidents, as concerns remain among residents of the area.
