📰 JUST IN: UK Police Charge Teenager Over Fatal Stabbing of Nigerian Man in London

The United Kingdom’s Metropolitan Police have charged a 17-year-old boy with murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of a Nigerian man, John Onetufo, in the Lewisham area of London.


The incident reportedly occurred on New Year’s Eve, when emergency services were alerted to a stabbing. Mr. Onetufo was pronounced dead shortly after the attack despite efforts to save him.


According to UK authorities, the suspect, who cannot be named due to his age, has been formally charged and is expected to appear in court as investigations continue. The Metropolitan Police said inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.


The case has drawn attention from members of the Nigerian community in the United Kingdom, with calls for justice and increased measures to address violent crime.
