Jigawa Police Arrest Newlywed Woman Over Alleged Poisoning of Husband


 The Jigawa State Police Command has arrested a newlywed woman in connection with the alleged death of her husband, following claims that she poisoned him shortly after their marriage.

According to police sources, the incident occurred in a local community within the state, where the husband reportedly fell ill and later died under suspicious circumstances. Preliminary investigations led authorities to suspect foul play, prompting further inquiry into the matter.

Police officials disclosed that the suspect allegedly admitted during interrogation that she administered a poisonous substance to her husband. She reportedly claimed that she was pressured into the marriage against her will, a situation that allegedly contributed to the tragic outcome.
