JAMB 2026: Official UTME Registration, Mock Exam and Examination Dates to Note


The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the official timetable for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) exercise.

According to the released schedule, the sale of UTME application documents will commence in January 2026, followed by registration at accredited CBT centres across the country. Candidates who wish to participate in the mock examination are also advised to complete their registration within the stipulated timeframe.

The mock examination is scheduled to hold in March 2026, while the main UTME will take place between April 16 and April 25, 2026. Direct Entry (DE) registration will also be conducted within the announced period at designated JAMB offices.

Prospective candidates are strongly advised to take note of all important dates, complete their registration early, and ensure they meet all requirements to avoid last-minute issues.

This update is aimed at helping candidates, parents, and guardians plan adequately ahead of the 2026 admission exercise.
