House of Reps Releases Certified Copies of New Tax Reform Acts for Public Scrutiny

Nigeria’s House of Representatives has released certified copies of four newly enacted Tax Reform Acts to the public, in a move aimed at addressing concerns over discrepancies and restoring public confidence.

The release follows ongoing discussions and controversies surrounding differences observed in earlier versions of the tax laws. By making the certified documents available, the House says it hopes to promote transparency, accountability, and informed public discourse.

Lawmakers emphasized that the action is intended to ensure clarity on the provisions of the reforms and to reassure Nigerians that the legislative process was conducted properly.

More updates will be shared as information becomes available.
